Ashley Walecka, OD grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from Stonehill College in 2008, majoring in Elementary Education and Mathematics. She then completed her Master’s Degree in Special Education at Boston University, followed by six years of teaching in the Framingham Public Schools.
After deciding on a career change, Dr. Walecka received her Doctorate of Optometry in May 2020 from The New England College of Optometry. She specializes in routine eye exams for children and adults, contact lenses, and post-operative care. Dr. Walecka is also available for basic low vision exams and prism evaluations for binocular vision disorders.
In her free time, Dr. Walecka enjoys watching the Boston Celtics and spending time with her son and daughter.
