I have been a patient at Center For Eye Health for several years and cannot say enough good things about Dr. Walecka and her support / administrative staff. A recent MRI prompted the need for me to follow up with Dr. Walecka in order to interpret the results and perform an exam to determine whether there was any basis for concern. My initial contact was with Elaine to schedule the appointment. After explaining some limitations in my availability, she uncovered a recent cancellation and booked the appointment only two days later. Elaine was a big help in setting things in motion on my behalf. Dr. Walecka saw me promptly and put any potential concerns regarding the MRI findings to rest in layman’s terms that were very helpful and reassuring. July 15, 2025 I had a routine annual eye exam with Dr. Beade today. Wait time was minimal, the technicians were thorough and professional, and Dr. Beade was his usual wonderful self. I am so happy with this practice. I have been Dr. Beade’s patient for the past several years. I had reached the end of my ability to correct my vision with stronger prescriptions…and Dr. Beade patiently explained that I now had cataracts that were causing the light coming in to spread light rather than focus it on the retina. Everything was unfocused and colors were muted. He walked me through the surgical steps and after-care (patiently answering my many questions). I had both eyes done over a summer (no pain, slight discomfort) and I can barely find words to describe my new vision. People and objects are clear and sharply defined, colors are vivid, and I can say Dr. Beade’s surgery was one of the best experiences and outcomes I’ve ever had. I can see my grandsons in their bright T-shirts and cannot wait for fall foliage. Highly recommend. Update 2024: Another fabulous visit with Dr. Beade at Center for Eye Health in Brockton. The staff is exemplary, bringing me from station to station, explaining what they are doing, helping calm any nerves. Finally, an exam by Dr. Beade, a perfect mix of good humor and professionalism. I highly recommend this practice.

Just had my 2nd eye cataract surgery done by Dr. Tova Kosowsky. Both surgeries went well with the result being 20/20 vision in each eye after having significant cataracts. Dr Tova is wonderful! Besides being a highly skilledOphthalmologist, she is a caring physician who listens. She truely has her patients eye health front and center. Leaving 4 stars due to only based on intial experience, in the Fall River office, I was there for a examination pre - surgical for Dr. Santoro, the receptionist was friendly and welcoming, the office and seating areas were emense but organized for effective and efficient patient care. All personal were helpful and assisted me due to my handicap. Dr. Santoro came in to the exam room after introductions, checking all info, then confirming the need for surgery, and the reasons why it should be done and risks. This was my first visit to the Center. Arlene at reception was great as well as Eve who did the 1st part of my treatment. It was my first time with Dr. Santoro who did an excellent examination as it was clear he understood what my status was and his exam was exactly what was called for and was able to discuss my status clearly and in a way that was easily understood. Very thorough, communicative, and competent I went for a second opinion on an eye condition. My previous doctor was pushing laser surgery for glaucoma, but Dr. Tang found I didn't have the condition. Being very thorough, he had his colleague check me, and he concurred I had no problems that would require laser surgery. He performed many tests that my previous ophthalmologist couldn't be bothered with. I'll be switching to Dr. Tang.

I have been seeing Dr. Beade for about 8 years now and have found him to be excellent concerning my eye care and health. I find him to be very thorough, professional and caring. Whenever I see him, he takes whatever time is necessary to conduct extensive examinations. He holds himself to the highest standards of care. Since being referred to the Brockton Ctr. for Eye Health I've had mostly positive experiences. Sometimes the wait is longer than I'd like, but I think that is because the office is very busy, and the doctors take the time to answer questions that their patients have. I'd like to share an example of the system working correctly when I shared with Dr. Beade an incident I had with temporary vision loss in one eye. I didn't realize what had actually occurred and therefore had not shared it with my PCP, (thinking that it was an eye issue). Dr. Beade immediately reached out to connect with my PCP to get testing set up for what I now know was a mini stroke. I am forever grateful to him for his care and follow through. I'm pleased to be a patient of Dr. Beade and The Center for Eye Health .

My name is Tammy Needham and I am a patient at center for eye health. I recently was seen by Dr. Kosowsky for issues from pink eye. She was great she treated my eye. When I left office I had issue with my vision, I could not see clearly at all! It was very scary!! I went back into the office even though it was closed, Susanna the office manager and some of the staff were getting ready to leave. She called Dr Kosowsky on her cell and she called back and spoke to me and let me know it was normal for the blurry vision because she had washed out my eye and it was irritated. The office went above and beyond and were genuinely concerned for me and my concerns. I am very thankful for that. I highly recommend this office to anyone who needs eye care. The staff at the front answering the phone are always very pleasant too. I was very thankful that my eye was ok. I brought the staff lunch the next day and told them it was from the "crazy lady " who showed up frantically to there office! 😊

I didn’t know it when I called, but I had an urgent situation. I was told to come right in to the Brockton office. The available Doctor examined me and indicated I had a retinal tear. She immediately recommended laser surgery which they set up immediately with a retinal specialist Within a few hours they had sealed the tear. In every subsequent appointment, I felt like to everyone in the office I was important every single person made sure I understood what was going on.
