Astrid C. Werner, MD is a board certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in adult and adolescent glaucoma care, the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and cataract surgery.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Werner graduated from Princeton University, and went on to earn her MD from Tufts University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society. She completed an ophthalmology residency at the New England Eye Center, Tufts Medical Center followed by a Glaucoma Fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Werner also practices at the New England Eye Center in Boston and Wellesley, and holds the academic appointment of Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Tufts University School of Medicine.
