Tova Kosowsky, MD is an eye physician and surgeon specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery, seeing patients for routine and diabetic eye examinations, for evaluation and management of cataracts and for medical care of a range of ophthalmologic conditions, including dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and oculoplastic-related concerns.
Dr. Kosowsky was born and raised in the greater Boston area. She graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a degree in Biology and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. After being admitted early decision through the Boston University Modular Medical Integrated Curriculum, she completed her medical school training at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her internship at St. Elizabeth’s Medical center in Internal Medicine, followed by residency in Ophthalmology at Boston University Medical Center, where she received the Edward Feinberg Professionalism and Humanism in Medicine Award. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New England Ophthalmological Society.
Dr. Kosowsky is extremely excited to return to the south shore and looks forward to help serving patients from the community. She is accepting new patients in the Brockton and Fall River offices of Center for Eye Health.
